@sanjuro: English in rock is a bit like in ancient Greece, where each poetic form corresponded to a specific dialect (though I don't remember which, as they slip my mind). Look at the Swedish bands, how many use their native language? And yet, what amazing albums they produce! I'm the first one who enjoys listening to bands singing in languages different from the "standard." And I don’t agree with your judgment on hardcore, but here we delve too much into de gustibus. Still, try listening to an album by Laghetto and tell me if they don't make great albums in Italian.
