And who tells you that I didn't actually pick them up :-D Don't always assume that others don't know what they're talking about since not everyone is like you ;-)

@Jack: nothing to add to what you’re saying. @Lazy: DeBaser is here for a reason! ;-) Thank you both!

Among the best releases of 2009, until yesterday it was at the top of the list...

Every time there’s a review about the Maiden (but also about another 4-5 "names") on DeB, I understand why it would be better if there weren’t any... and not because of the content of the review, mind you... :-D
Unfortunately, whether we like it or not, the Maiden (and the other 4-5) do well for DeBaser, regardless of what people think or say (I won’t post statistics for once), so we just have to accept this too. After all, every community has its own "social outlets"... DeB has the Maiden ;-)

Defining DD or Nathan Never as garbage is at least exaggerated (at least for the first part of their existence: up to issue 140 for the former, the first 5 years for the latter). Of course, if we fall into the trap of making comparisons between comics that are anyway mainstream (in the literal sense of the word and not in a derogatory sense), even though they have a high artistic level, and those that are purely underground (like some names mentioned), we risk sinking into unsolvable issues like the sex of angels: everything has a precise value, even in relation to the target it aims for (though to be honest, if one truly knew the story of DD, they would understand that the label of "mass appeal" wasn’t something it acquired right away; instead, it was a slow word-of-mouth process). Then it’s possible that neither of them appeals to certain people, but to put it so drastically seems quite unfair from all points of view.

@Panapp: don't mention it, thank you! @Bubi: ah, Crawford... that's why I included a link ("enemy") to clarify the "relationship" she had with the great Davis. We must say that many events are now cloaked in legend, but it was quite certain that she didn't have an easy temperament. Thank you for stopping by!

P.S.: as already mentioned elsewhere, for someone with a nickname like that, the 5 for the review is given regardless.
