Well, that kind of arrangement has become typical in her recent work (you could already hear some of it in "Scarlet's Walk"). "The Beekeeper" was almost a "jazz" album in its own way; here, the influences clearly come from Pop-Rock. I'll tell you, I don't mind it (but I didn't mind "ADP" either), and I find at least 5-6 tracks that will grow a lot and be remembered by fans. From a lyrical perspective, I haven't fully grasped them yet, so I wouldn't know, but even there, I don't think "The Beekeeper" was particularly outstanding; "ADP" was much better, in my opinion. Of course, I'm speaking from a personal standpoint. Anyway, in a few days I’ll be able to give a more precise opinion; for now, I see it as a solid album (unlike "The Beekeeper," which wasn't initially, but became so for me only over the years; it remains, after the cover album, her most "weaker" record). Ps: I was impressed by the Ondarock review...Fabretti gave it a 5/10: knowing his disdain for the latest Tori (we all know of his sincere love for the early part of the Redhead's career), it's a rating (considering the content of the review) not to be underestimated. The review is somewhat marred by some inaccuracies in the reported "data," but it's a characteristic that those at Ondarock care a lot about, from what I’ve understood ;-)

If we take it as a comedy, it’s not funny (aside from Fini's uncle's joke about having "fallen" in Auschwitz). As a purely satirical subject, it has excellent observation of political matters and a rather sharp wit, but it often devolves into vulgarity. From this perspective, Grillo is, even if it seems strange, more "refined" and definitely funnier. Then again, the fact that I agree with him 99% of the time in terms of the concepts he wants to convey is another matter, but I think he could express it in a way more worthy of his intelligence, and above all, Hicks could have "quoted" him better...

I don't know how to say that "The Uncatchable Lupin" is better than this, but I respect every opinion.

We should see if those who "tell the usual protest of the unemployed to go to hell" are really who we think they are or if, in the end, they are unsuspecting individuals: our not-so-rich neighbor, the worker who acts like a traitor, the housewife who settles for "Centovetrine"... "evil" is not always so easily identifiable and it doesn't always really nestle in those who flaunt their opulence (even though I am the first to shudder at certain excesses), but often it can be found in the "poor souls" (in the literal sense of the term) who, if they could, would behave just like the newly wealthy, and in their small way (proportionally) they already do, treating those who have even less than they do accordingly, spiraling into a never-ending inflationary cycle of abuse. The more I think about it, the more the rhetoric of blaming all the filth on just one side makes me smile, that’s all.

Well, it doesn't really seem to resemble "The Beekeeper" to me, honestly...

@Supersoul: First of all, I’m glad that you read my humble and trivial posts. Regarding the issues at hand: my statement in point 8 was not a polemic against your point 4 (from which I only took the information about the event price) but rather a reflection on my (in)ability to comment on the ethical issue of the price because with my money I have made much more questionable expenditures (you can decide for yourself whether to believe in it or not). As for the character you mentioned, I recall a phrase they said (more or less) "it's better to marry a rich and beautiful woman than a poor and ugly one," but having followed Arbore’s programs little (not being a fan), I don’t think I can count him among my mentors (though I’ve had, fortunately, worse ones, I would say). However, I’m sure that if you say this, you must have your well-founded reasons, given that the "0s" of Reason always fall along the straight line you trace. If by chance you are not familiar with this reference, but I believe you are, I assure you that it’s a compliment, and in any case, you will find more details in the review I am currently preparing, which I will post as soon as possible, if you would do me the honor of reading it. Hugs.

Nice review, I tried to face it years ago but decided it wasn't for me: I don’t know if it's "ethical" to charge almost 200 euros for a concert, but in the end, everyone has the right to do (almost) anything they believe with their money.
