He is the singer/musician/songwriter behind the name IAMX: his second project, the first being Sneaker Pimps. Anyway, if you click the link next to my signature, it opens another one of my reviews where you can understand the reason for this non-review of mine ;-) Thank you for stopping by!

Thank you all for the compliments! @Saab: it depends on what you mean by well-written and well-translated because it's clear that du Sautoy is not a "novelist" and sometimes he can be overly didactic, but that's forgivable considering that this is ultimately an essay, and he manages to describe quite complex things in the simplest way possible and, as you said, engagingly, which is not an easy feat when talking about certain topics! @Jurix: let's leave Statistics aside... lately on DeB... ;-) joking aside, anyway, speaking of the Riemann Hypothesis, this science also carries its weight, and the author consequently discusses it in depth. @Bubi: I only know him by name (and if I remember correctly, he's even mentioned in this book, but I don't think it's for the work you're talking about), but I haven't read anything of his. John Nash (also extensively cited in du Sautoy's book) not only dealt with "Game Theory" but also won the Nobel Prize for his work in that field! @CJBS: Good luck! Thanks again to everyone!

Jargon, as usual, is encyclopedic... impossible to escape it! ;-) Anyway, if it were confirmed that the author aligns, and thus that it's not copied, I would forgive the fact, maybe he didn't know about the Ius (or Jus?) Primae Noctis...

Thanking you, I quote a sentence from the book regarding the issue you raised, citing dear Eletto: "It sometimes happens, after years of abstract reasoning in which the Pythagorean tables we learned as children are rarely used, that mathematicians are not exactly wizards in arithmetic calculations." And another that says a lot about the creativity of Mathematics, also found in the book, by Hilbert about one of his students who left Mathematics to become a poet: "He did well, he had too little imagination to be a Mathematician." ;-) Hi and thanks again!

Nice review, a film I’ve never liked (like most of Luna's work), Neri is simply unpresentable and mere beauty is not enough to cover her embarrassing non-acting.

Between "case" and "of" I accidentally included a "di", sorry... the dyslalia...

mmm, not to be a pain, but in Italian the plural of an English term (unless the plural form has also been commonly accepted in the language, and it doesn't seem so, at least I believe, in the case of the term "editor") remains singular, so you should say "editor" even in the plural: for example, I think that in the case of the plural of fan you can use "fans," but in terms like "webmaster," "link," etc. the correct form is the singular. No offense (and correct me if I'm wrong), obviously!

Miiii, you are monsters (in a good way)! Thank you! PS. 36 links should be the record, right? ;-)

Without bothering the editors again, I noticed that another link has also "skipped": on the 11th line under "proposizione 20" there should have been this: Infinita' dei primi
