I don't really care much about the review and the book being reviewed, but the opening line raises a question for me: has the term "outing" been accepted into the Italian language? (In English, as you know, it doesn’t exist: it’s called "coming out"). Someone please answer me because this is quite troubling...

By the way, I forgot to mention it today: it's only the "professor" who wants to destroy the "room," not both of the "guests" of the "stalker."

Today I'm particularly dysgraphic...I hope it comes across the same way ;-)

Whie's speech is practically perfect, but I would extend it to 99% of current critics (I don't find significant differences in "philosophical" approach between someone like Scaruffi and Stefani, for example), who start from a self-referential position that, if dug into, ends up with very little substantial. However, I believe that the merely "encyclopedic" role of a site like Scaruffi's should not be underestimated, where (vastly between what he's written and what his ghost writers have produced) if one has the good will to assess only the chronological information, interesting insights can be found too. That said, I would be very careful not to "demonize" the "poor" Piero, also because I have noticed that the main detractors (professionals in criticism and/or not) tend to be even more annoying and presumptuous. :-D

Thank you both! I realized I sent the review without a small (but important for the understanding of the text) correction that I needed to make from the "mala" ;-): I wrote towards the end that the first two parts are "personal" and the third "general"; in reality, the appropriate adjectives would have been "realistic" and "fantastical" respectively because only the first part has a distinctly personal character while the second is more "historical". I apologize.

I still don't understand why every time something by the Russian director is reviewed, Kubrick is always brought up. Maybe it's my issue, but I see them as quite different (besides the fact that they are both great, obviously).

The review didn't excite me (the book did), but I'm giving you a nice 5 that counts collectively for the 7 (at least so far) reviews you sent on the 23rd: I believe that's a record, I'll wait for the appropriate person to confirm.

I believe it's this one Come with Us - The Chemical Brothers - Recensione di Rivo Boredom (even though it has the number 4) while the one we're writing about is number 3 even though it carries the 7. Instead, DeDataBase reports this one Live Atomic Cafe Monaco 13.02.02 - Tahiti 80 - Recensione di karl although it has number 20, but many "sources" mention this one Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea - PJ Harvey - Recensione di LOR15 even though it has 13. So it's quite a mess. I think it's due to the reorganization done some time ago by the WMs. Bye.
