Frankly ugly album by a technically excellent band but lacking in soul. The review is well written, but one point off because it’s a bit biased.

Thank you for the clarification Anonimo, you know I’m a bit foolish, I didn’t get it! It’s always nice to talk to you!

Well, if you're talking about a great group until '79, the circle narrows. As for Fossati, I don't mean to say he's the greatest Italian singer-songwriter, but that he's contributed a lot to Italian music. I completely agree with you on those you mentioned, but I consider only De André to be significantly superior to Fossati; the others depend heavily on historical periods and personal tastes.
My remarks about your certainty were not a criticism, but rather a warm invitation to be a little less rigid and severe towards those who might not be musical geniuses (like Floyd, Genesis, etc.) but are definitely excellent musicians who, in the desolate and disheartening musical landscape of Italy over the last fifteen years, have brought something that stands out. (I'm referring to La Crus in this case).
Take care!

Dear 47, it's clear from your post that you've listened to the Maiden very little. I don't think I'm being offensive by saying that your argument sounds like it's straight out of the music column of any local feuilleton, and honestly, your final appeal to disown the Maiden is a bit out of place because it's pointless, given that in every Maiden review there are at least three people who think like you, who must invariably reiterate the same old things from Allmusic's living room. A bit of imagination, for goodness' sake! Bye-bye!
P.S.: In any case, you're free to think as you wish.
As for dear Kirk, find me a band that sounded like them before 1980... of course, they invented a style, and it's precisely the Maiden style.
I would like to earnestly appeal to the various detractors: can we start being a bit more creative with the criticisms? Come on, it’s been twenty years that I've heard the same two things… I like the Maiden because they sound like the Maiden, period (and evidently, based on the numbers, I'm not alone). Stop boring me with banal and clichéd MTV-like critiques, and I swear I won't bore you with discussions about how much I like them... there are 16,000 reviews on this site, it doesn't seem so hard to not read the 69 on the Maiden, let their fans handle that.
Then, if you want to talk about music without building the classic wall between sides, I'm always ready for civil and wide discussions.
I express respect for everyone. Bye!

To dear Gilmour: no, I’m not entirely clear: A) The idea that The Final Cut is not a good album is entirely yours and I respect it, but it leaves me puzzled. B) Likewise for Fossati, second line.. Bah! Endless perplexity. C) We agree. D) You’re right, comparing honest artists to boy bands does not mean considering that they’ve also created something good; it’s simply offensive to artists like La Crus, who not only have created something good but have also been more than dignified representatives of a genuine and cultured style. You have too many certainties; don’t pass them off as universal truths… Bye!

I share your opinions, the album is definitely not his best work, but it's enjoyable to listen to.

Dear Plutonio, I assure you that I have listened to the Clash, and I repeat, I have never liked them. It’s my right, just as it is yours to be a fan of theirs. Let's say they have never resonated with my sensitivities, but perhaps that’s my problem... Yours, however, is that you should be a bit more tolerant of other people's opinions. We are in a democracy... THANKFULLY! Always available for clarifications. Bye!

The tones of the review are very shareable, but there are a few too many grammatical errors; I recommend that you read through the review multiple times before posting it (I believe your mistakes are more due to haste than lack of knowledge of the language). Additionally, I would like to clarify that A) "Somewhere in Time" means "Da qualche parte nel Tempo," B) in my opinion, the peak of Maiden is not here but at least a couple of years earlier (not for my tastes but definitely for the mass audience), in fact, it was from this point that the first fierce criticisms came from various sources, led by a certain short-sighted journalism. C) It's "The loneliness of the..." D) In my opinion, the intro is absolutely not disappointing; however, it's a matter of taste... It's useless to say that for me the album is fundamental. As for the review, I give you a vote of confidence for future improvement.
