Tricky Mixed Race

Even though I haven't listened to them, I'm sure that Tricky's albums should be judged at least 5-6 years later (so I'd say 2016 is fine for this): back in '95 (with "Maxinquaye") and '96 (with "Pre-Millenium Tension"), everyone was spitting, and now everyone is drooling over those albums (I remember it well), so I would have been more cautious...

For what it's worth, the Portuguese Wikipedia page states that 1985 is the production year of the Fiat Prêmio in Brazil, which then, in 1986 (according to a couple of Spanish websites I've checked), was produced in Argentina under the name Duna (which, according to the Brazilian FIAT, was meant to be an evolution of the Uno, as I have found written) and then marketed in Europe in 1987.

Well, oh my, the review, perhaps minimal and too brief, is there, in the sense that I believe the reviewer has, in the end, said everything about the album (of course, the TbT remains a bit heavy even though it's short), so I wouldn't be so harsh.

Baricco divides. Personally, I really like "Oceano Mare," somewhat enjoy "Castelli di rabbia," and not at all "Seta," which I haven't read.

George A. Romero Land of the Dead

Asia Argento (and not just because she voices herself but in general) is quite unwatchable in this film (while in others I didn't mind her at all). As for the rest, I agree with those who say that Romero revisits the themes he has cherished for years, so there is nothing particularly new. I must say, however, that there is one scene that thrilled me and gives the film a passing grade, which is the one where the "normals" towards the end try to distract the zombies with fireworks but... (and also the subsequent one where the "banquet" is "perceived"...).

Well, the fact that, as I think too, one might prefer Maroccolo to the Renzulli-Pelù duo doesn't change the fact that saying the former was ousted by the latter is a rather partial, if not incorrect, reconstruction: then that the concept remains the same makes perfect sense, but if we want to be precise, it's better to clearly define the circumstances. Best regards and take care.
