LA RECENSIONE

Well, this is my first review on Debaser, and my goal will be to review only albums without other reviews.

And here we are with the Album in question "Oxbow Lakes" by Orb. Let me preface by saying that I'm not a huge fan, so 'maybe' I'll be able to be more objective:

- Track 01 "Album Version" Starts with piano and dreamy pad. Sufficient rhythmic solutions. Track too long and repetitive.

- Track 02 "Everglades Mix" Perhaps the best of the album, with a light tribal-like rhythm (here everything is very soft) always accompanied by the usual pad.

- Track 03 "Sabres No. I Mix" Almost Trip/Hop rhythm, maybe not very original with FX sounds a bit too clichéd. Low-level loops. Imagination similar to itself.

- Track 04 "Psychic Pals Family Wealth Plan Mix" A fairly good track overall, almost like house with a silencer. Enjoyable anyway.

- Track 05  "Evensong String Arrangement" Well, this track is really annoying. It consists exclusively of electronic violins performing not very imaginative fantasies.

So what can I say, if you are a fan of electronic music, maybe this is an album missing from your private collection. Don't expect to find original fantasies worthy of applause, but just a CD of electronic music for distracted listening.

The review of Orb's 'Oxbow Lakes' offers an objective perspective highlighting its dreamy electronic sounds and soft rhythms. Some tracks, like the 'Everglades Mix,' stand out as the best, while others feel repetitive or uninspired. The album is suggested for casual listening rather than for those seeking originality or intense engagement.
