Come on, Happy, you can't say that Battiato is a false artist. With all due respect for your opinion (as a musician but especially as a person who's always composed), it seems to me that you're exaggerating a bit here... Setting aside the first part of Battiato's career, which was very experimental and, in my opinion, outside the singer-songwriter world, albums like "La voce del Padrone" and "Fisiognomica" are not from a false artist but express a finely tuned and high-level creative verve, in my view. Bye!

Nice Ratzingerian reference, Primi! ;-), however, in my opinion, Gaetano should be considered a (great) singer-songwriter in every sense, but as you also said, I personally don't find him on the same level as others (as I mentioned in my previous post).

Great album, but to be honest, I prefer them in the latter part of their career (from "Permanent Vacation" to "Get a Grip"), the review isn't bad either.
