Alright, it’s my turn to speak out: to me, they’re just an MTV product, and they have very little of Emo (meant as emotional and not as a genre), the usual catchy tunes, the usual choruses, the usual riffs, etc. The review, however, is nice, it’s a shame you mentioned "alexander," which in my opinion is one of the worst movies ever, with two unbearable actors; one is Farrell and the other is definitely Leto. Alright, maybe I’ve been a bit too harsh, but it’s a rough time for DeBaser and I want to play the provocateur a little too.

I preface this by saying that I agree it is one of R.E.M.'s least successful works and it might even deserve a failing grade, but today I’ve decided that here (on this site) sometimes you have to be a bit of a jerk, because with politeness (on this site) you just end up getting slapped in the face by fish (in the best-case scenario). However, since I’m a civil person, I’ve decided that my way of protesting will be to always give a political 5 to bands/artists I like, even for works that don’t excite me. One last thing to my dear friend Dave: you know I respect you, but R.E.M. don’t deserve it, and on the matter of the union leader, you’re probably right. ;-)
