You used the right term "in your opinion." In my opinion, both historically and currently, there is no comparison to be made; the kids have to eat a lot more cookies... ;-)

I'm talking about historical importance; what parameters do you think are used to measure whether a group is important or not? I believe it depends on their history, what they've done, and the genres they've inspired. In Metal, I place Maiden and Metallica at the top on equal footing. As for current albums, like everything else, I reiterate that it largely comes down to personal tastes. Bye!

If it weren't for the existence of Maiden (and Metallica, the other most important band despite their decline in recent years), the bands you mention wouldn't even exist, and Judas Priest would still be doing hard rock. Bitter but it's the historical truth. Then, when it comes to comparisons, it's all a matter of personal taste. I don't find your attitude of "not worth a note," "a piece of junk album" to be fair, as if it were an objective truth when it is, in fact, a respectable subjective opinion. Referring to the words of the singer of Blind Guardian, a member of one of the least creative bands in history, I don’t know what to tell you other than to repeat the advice to take a good look in the mirror. From a media point of view, Maiden don't have more publicity than others (less than Judas, for example, who have been on the VH1/2 path, meaning MTV at least in America, for years), yet they are still there, serving as a reference point for better and probably worse, but this is what is expected from the pioneers of a genre. As for the fact that you don't like them, of course, you're free to rate the album a 5000 or less; my critique wasn't aimed in that direction but rather at the statement "let's hope it never sees the light of day." I extend my affection and respect to you and also to the good Dave, aka Arnold.
