The quality of her records relies heavily on the choice of the author; she has certainly done something good, but a good interpreter should be able to enhance even the less talented authors, and she doesn't do that. She just limits herself to doing the task dutifully...

@Riccardo, you haven't understood the meaning of my comment; the issue isn't about praising certain niche groups but denying the historical importance of the Beatles (one may not like them, but not recognizing their significance is another matter). From your comments, I gather that you are poorly informed about a lot of things. The Beatles are still beloved in Italy as well as abroad, and I think you've been influenced by Scaruffi because you write in the same style, so either you are him (and I don't believe that) or you're heavily inspired by him. You cite illustrious names you claim to be inspired by; well, elaborate on them personally and don't just take them verbatim, and now excuse me, but if I want to know the opinions of Scaruffi, Bangs, etc., I’ll go read them directly without someone bringing them to me here. Aloha!

Dear face, I agree, in fact my criticism was not so much about the different style (which I appreciated) but because in my opinion a bit more synthesis (and a touch of the old Fincher) in the second half would have lightened the whole thing, making it an almost epic film. That's why my relatively low rating (I gave it a 7 on my blog) because in the end, the excessive redundancy in the finale (which diminishes the tension, despite the lovely scene described by dear Eletto) somewhat influenced my overall judgment. Nonetheless, it's a beautiful film, however one interprets it, which I recommend to everyone. Bye!
