A classic example of a singer with undeniable qualities who has catered to easy targets, easy (even though a certain predisposition is still needed for that). If I'm not mistaken, in the Disney Club edition that launched her, there were also Spears, Timberlake, and Gosling: "curious" that, for better or worse, all four have left their mark. It’s showbiz, darling... Many of the comments above are amusing in their naivety. Nice review.

If it were concise, it could be used as an example of how a review should be: thorough and organized. I like the use of titles for each topic (and I use it sometimes), but perhaps it's a bit excessive for the type of product being reviewed. It’s evident what kind of character Taylor Swift is and that her construction has been "synthetic" (although I too remember something of her "Country" past), and I find the use of terms like "hipster" in this context rather inappropriate. That said, the review is obviously not very objective (let's face it: from a "fan" or, in any case, a passionate Mtv pop enthusiast), but here on DeBaser we've seen even worse reviews, including in genres that are much more "acceptable" to the average user of the site (so perhaps they passed without much criticism, even with flattering judgments), and it reveals a reviewing potential that shouldn't be underestimated. The suggestions (take them with a grain of salt since they are personal) are 2: A) Turn to other types of Pop (there are definitely more interesting things within the genre) B) Develop your potential in other areas because this is fine for fooling around, but in terms of credibility, it’s at zero. Bye.

Congratulations. 39 reviews in 70 days for "DeVita": an average that can currently outshine (unless you run out of funds first: power is nothing without control) in a short time that of the Punisher (a hero of our times) from days gone by.

Masterpiece of synthesis.

But it isn't history that has vindicated Dickinson; it's Di'Anno himself who endorses Dickinson ("Best Iron Maiden Singer Ever"). The debate over whether the early albums are better than those of others is old hat, and I leave that to the musical scholars and/or punk enthusiasts. I know (in the sense that it's a fairly objective matter) that without Dickinson, Iron Maiden wouldn't even exist anymore or would be a band for a select few lovers of (more or less) extreme niche genres (like any Neurosis, in short). Sure, some might prefer them that way, but unfortunately, at certain levels, numbers matter (and the allure of Maiden for their fans is primarily extramusical but transcends to touch on the concept of "religion"). The rest is just Derida's discourse, which is worth zero.

I don't know. I found it really ugly. But maybe it's because I've never really appreciated it that much.
