Hi Hal! Once again, a sumptuous review. I read it while listening to the Vienna... What a talent, it almost seems like a "physical" talent.

Nice, on DeB commenting is allowed even without an invitation; if you were expecting only positive comments, there's something you're missing not only about DeB but about much more. If for you the history of music is "rock in the '70s, glitter in the '80s, brit in the '90s and Britney Spears in the 2000s," well, I don't know what else to say. Just a piece of advice: listen to something else besides Queen and the 4-5 (or 40-50 for that matter) bands you know. And don’t care whether they were successful or not; pay attention to the fact that they had influence, that’s what counts. One last piece of advice: avoid the immature jokes of a 13-year-old ("I'll stick the CDs up your ass"), especially if you're 28. Bye bye.

Just the fact that you use a percentage to quantify IQ, that you insult, that you make 13-year-old sexual jokes, says a lot about your intelligence... But aside from that, my boy, know that I admire you a lot for the moments of comedy you’re giving us. Now excuse me, but I’m focusing on listening to Michael Jackson; he’s an icon, so I enjoy listening to him. Linear, right? Cheers and kisses.

You've made all this speech saying (aside from a few nonsense here and there) what we've been repeating since the beginning. You've finally understood the premises. You're still getting the conclusion wrong (which for you would be: therefore those who succeed are better), but you're improving.

No Walter, you didn't say that History should be summarized in a compendium, you did it, and that's enough. As for Music, which certainly isn't war, in my opinion what you don't want (or can't) understand (and yet you have a degree... oh well) is that your conception of "being great" and "making music history" is ridiculous because it's based on the success of artists (or their image) rather than their true musical merits. And how do we need to explain this to you? My boy, you’re a bit thick-headed, huh.

Damn, this guy has a SPIDER-HEAD (quote Eze) // (1) If you say you know 4-5 bands, people believe you because the way you reason makes it seem very likely that it's true. Then, they could be 4-5 or 40-50, but it's always few. (2) The analogy Music-World War is really spot on, kudos for the idea, war-art, just the same thing. (3) And enough with this story about alternatives, but who put that in your head? Did they beat you up when you were a kid? It's clear you think with preconceptions... At 28, that's a bit serious, let me tell you. (4) But have you actually listened to John Coltrane?

Alright, Walter, if you want to keep talking about questionable sexual metaphors, go ahead. I prefer to talk about music, in general. But I see that with you and your Certainties, there’s no way to engage in dialogue. You say you listen to 4-5 bands, right? So how can you claim to have the truth about the history of music in your pocket? I don’t know. To me, you’re number 1; you’ve outdistanced Vrensis by quite a bit.

Oh well, so according to you Michael Jackson and Queen would be spaghetti alle vongole, and Mercury Rev and Sonic Youth fish & chips... Fine. But excuse me a question: if you don't listen to them, these so-called hippie bands (?), how do you know they're fish & chips? Oh no, I forgot, listening doesn't interest you, you just need to know what image they have and how much they count in showbiz. Sorry, my mistake for even questioning it. Bye // PS If you want the photo, I can send it home, but then make sure to clean up around, please.
