I'm sorry, I followed the debate and I would have liked to intervene with a different tone, but when I read Hal's comment on their site, I curiously went to take a look. After seeing it, I realize that all the objections to Hal's reasoning on the specific merit are purely idle. How can one even think that they don't make music with the intent of spreading a message? It's utter nonsense. I'm also in favor of "music for music's sake," but music - as Hal says - CAN have a message, and when it does, ignoring it means being either disingenuous or hypocritical. "Delirious" is an understatement; these guys should be reported. "A certain historical revisionism"... What an aberration.
