From the way you talk about it, tell me if I’m wrong, it might be closer to a certain "avantgarde" minimalism (like Mika Vainio, whom I heard recently) rather than to the stinky doomsters (they smell, right?) (heh).

mmm easy, "to take refuge in intimism to escape banality or revival"... this seems to me a trial of intentions and a generalization. What do you know, maybe there are those who create intimate work because that’s what they feel compelled to express. I understand the idiosyncrasy towards the genre, but it doesn’t mean that everyone does it for fashion. I too, in front of the garage revival, used to sneer at everyone, but there must have been someone doing it with true personal flair...
