Congratulations ..damn.., what an awesome review (especially the part about the cover and the one about the walk in the city) that easily makes it into the "recommended by josi_"! Now I'm off to listen to the tracks.

Pop, pop, pop. It draws me in (a little) and pushes me away (a little more). I still need to theorize. I'm waiting for your review to take inspiration and do it.

Phenomenal review..! But what can I do, I can't appreciate Iggy Pop and his physicality, it's my flaw.

Dear Antonio, you always write wonderfully, but this time I must say I liked you less. Just a bit sappy, a bit like Tim. If the grades were out of ten, I'd only give you a 9 this time, which translated into fives makes it 4.5, rounding to 5.

Mmmm I’m very skeptical, man. I’ll quote what I’ve already written in a forum (ā€œThe old RHCPā€): John Frusciante, after BSSM, at the peak of success, chose to reject everything to remain an intact and cursed artist... drugs, drugs, drugs, and guitar... and he made two solo albums of pure delirium... and sincerity (Niandra Lades And Usually Just A T-shirt - 1995 - and Smile From The Streets You Hold - 1997). Those two albums are almost unlistenable: there are his screams, his falsettos, his dialogues with spirits, his uncertain yet inspired touches on the Fender, disastrous improvisations recorded in his room. For me, THAT is the solo John Frusciante: burned by drugs but soaked in artistic intentions. To Record Only Water For Ten Days (from the Californication era), although better recorded and arranged, marks his return to the ā€œmusic industry,ā€ and it dramatically lacks flavor (there you go! even a rhyme!)... a wrong purchase, which I don’t want to repeat with Shadows Collide With People, considering what our guy has ā€œproducedā€ lately with the RHCP: stuff to make money. Since you speak so highly of it (the review, by the way, is written very well), I’ll give it a listen. But... mmmmmmmh....

Among other things, the cover is one of the most beautiful there is.

Nick, I'm afraid the meaning is "blowjob on a corpse" or "of a corpse"... in either case... I have no words. Anyway, the song feels a bit mannerist to me, what do you think?

The first spontaneous comment is more of a question for Matteo: does the singer sing lyrics with a very low tone or are they just verses? (Is this what’s called a "growl"? Sorry, I'm ignorant on the subject.)
