invitation: For me, there is an abyss between Elliott Smith and Badly Drawn Boy (in favor of the former); after all, I've never listened to a Badly Drawn Boy album except for a few samples, just like you with Elliott. It seems like it all makes sense, right? ;) The mention of suicide is a redundant and unnecessary clarification: Elliott Smith earned the respect of music enthusiasts long before the incident.

Listened thoroughly (thanks Barry!!!). Great trip, indeed, awesome, they rock! But the last one (Changes In The City) I don't like so much; Sonic Youth do that stuff better.

In my teenage years, I listened to Dire Straits and I missed out on Pink Floyd (and I actually argued constantly with a friend about which one was better). I tried to catch up later, but I think it was too late: I know little about them. What a great review, though!
