Yes, I feel the same way about the FF; I don't know the Libertines well enough to judge. But we were talking about Bloc Party: I couldn't tell if you like them or not (I don't like them enough to buy the album). You say you've listened to it and you like it; but you didn’t get it because of the hype... Damn, I thought I was the snob here, but you take the cake! Can you teach me some tricks? :)

Hehe, the hype is really annoying, I agree! But Giubbo, if you liked the album, it’s a bit senseless to not buy it just because of the hype, right? (and trust me, coming from me - who hates all these pumped-up little bands - that means something... see the debate about Interpol in the Jarcrew review) :D I’ve listened to the album (thanks, wizard!) and it seems much more varied than the aforementioned Interpol as well as the Franz Ferdinand (and that doesn’t mean it drives me crazy).

Truly, an absolute masterpiece. Well done, Airone, it wasn't easy. You captured the poetry beautifully, which is not easy to imagine amidst this crazy sonic delirium, subtle, majestic, unattainable. Madness, madness, madness. All the sound experimentation that was yet to be born. But not only that. Everything, even catchy melodies (the little tune from the winds in Why Don't You Eat Carrots). This is what I would now call "experimental," let alone in the early '70s... Great job, Airone!

I might be wrong, perhaps everything he writes is true and Mauro really is a tough guy. But can you imagine if it weren’t true? Just think, if it weren’t true, what a sadness. A person who has no inner wealth, who has no better hobbies than hiding behind a false identity, a hollow life filled in such a crass way. I must be mistaken, right? There can't really be a person of such thin substance so close to zero. I’m mistaken, yes, yes; but just think if it were true.
