2 to 1, easy, 2 to 1. Anyway, I agree: I believe the Beatles were not just a pop culture phenomenon (as some say), but it's also true that on a purely musical level, the VU (and many others at the time) were much more shocking! I would be curious to hear Zappa's cover of I Am The Walrus.
