Hal, in the package with the Midwest I'll also include "Broken Toy Shop" and the live you mentioned, which is "Oh What A Beautiful Morning," very very nice :)

Beautiful the phrase posted by bogusman. If he writes an essay or if someone compiles his interviews, I will gladly read it ;)

I understand; in fact, if an artist is a preacher, it doesn't mean I won't like them musically (though it helps, you know). And in the various creations of Ferretti (and even more so of Maroccolo), I appreciate something. @ajeje: I hope that "positions defended by the right" was a hasty but conscious generalization, I could be offended! :)

Odradek, I didn't mean "aligned" in the sense of "affiliated with a party/program/political movement," I only meant that they carry a political message, regardless of whether it aligns with a party or not. What matters to me is that Ferretti acts as a preacher, and I don't like preachers in music. They are incorrect by default because music is not a written text that merely conveys concepts; it also conveys – more easily – emotions, which are easy to commodify. @spaccazucche: be careful that those values you speak of are not solely communist, nor does communism encompass only those values.

Well, obviously - as can be seen from the comments - the character is either loved or hated. I really struggle, and quite a bit, to appreciate artists who are so openly opinionated. Musically, I only manage to appreciate Maroccolo. Good review.
