Yes, but be careful, saying "the idea of beauty has changed" is one thing (with which I agree because beauty is still at the center, even if in different forms), saying "art no longer concerns itself with beauty" is another (neither a condemnation, nor praise, and not even a fact :D)

Exactly, it's a timeless concept that cannot be categorized into the various "paths" through which one arrives at beauty. It could be sheep cut in two, the blood of Viennese actionism, the clangs of Stockhausen, Michelangelo's frescoes, or Dante's rhymes, but it always circles back to the "beauty" (certainly not in the banal sense).

Exactly, guys, the artist draws from the world, okay, and expresses themselves, okay. However, if we stop here, this artist could just as well write a nice essay or start giving speeches. We call them an artist because the expression *pleases*. It's clear that by "beauty" I don’t mean the pleasant neoclassical aesthetic ideal, huh, we're not stupid, it's clear that art today also uses different sensations to please, but think about it, it’s always about beauty.

"Music and art have every right to be honestly political; I can't stand the lightness at all costs" --> but why, excuse me, if something is not political does it have to be light? Hmph. Instead, in an era where everyone talks about everything without knowing anything, I prefer technicality and specialization. I want politics from a politician, economics from an economist, philosophy from a philosopher, beauty from an artist. Not a permutation of these.
