Yes, indeed, I also often find good Piero to be a jerk. I only used him to illustrate the "Rock" label in the second case (in the broader sense). Well, but you also agree that (in the first case) if you mean Rock as "only that" Rock, then it can be said with good approximation that it's dead, right?

I arrive late and there are already too many comments, I don't read them all and so I might say something that's already been said: I agree with the message of the review, even though I think it relies too much on the fact that the labels everyone uses are not the same. Saying "Rock is dead" can mean "The music of Rolling Stones or VU is dead" and I agree, but if someone uses Rock as a broader definition (like Scaruffi, just to be clear), I don't agree at all; innovations happen month by month, simply think of the sounds.
