Aeneas, my son, it’s clear you want to argue; I know the memory of Slavia Prague is still stinging, but what did you eat that was so sour? :D Wow, you could have commented on the review instead of wasting two long comments on me! I feel honored. It’s clear you can’t understand what I meant by "slave to harmonies and melodies" (I didn’t expect you to), I still don’t fully understand it myself! And aren’t you the one who makes comparisons in absolute terms? Well. Anyway, I certainly didn’t want to belittle Mozart (LONG...), but just to say that on average I prefer Beethoven, for his power, for his greater unpredictability, for a (very personal) impression of universality even in the simplest things. Who knows, it’s obvious that I’m sharing my sensational opinions, without absolutely pretending to pose as a critic, let alone a detractor (of Mozart, no less), as happens with all the good & angelic DeBasers (but maybe you didn’t notice). Come on, lift yourself up; at least this year stay in Serie A.

Hehe great recommendation, my dear Chokebore! For my receptors, they might not be a perfect 5/5, but remarkable, remarkable, remarkable!

:) Anyway, I almost forgot: great record, this one. Of course, it's different from the masterpieces of the past (my favorite is EP+6), but it's a great record. 4.5 rounded up.

Here, exactly, loader: if the world didn't have "professional artists," we would miss out on many beautiful things. I'm not saying that those who live off it necessarily create better things (on the contrary), but they have created beautiful things, and perhaps for the most part.

Unloader, what I wanted to say much more simply is that, regardless of the artist's approach (whether they are established or not), one has to put in time to create something, and time costs money. That's it. Your argument about art being disconnected from money seems a bit utopian to me. End of my comment. (Then, if you want, you can say that there are artists who produce to sell and others who produce to express themselves, but that was outside the scope of my comment.) Cheers.

Yes, I had read it, but art needs to be created by someone, and it takes time. Now, if art weren't tied to money, either artists have to hustle to produce the things we love so much only in their free time (or at night) to make a living in other ways during the day, or you tell me... :)

It would be nice, loader, if it were as you say. It would also be nice to travel all year round, with airlines giving you free tickets, hotels hosting you for free, and restaurants paying you to taste their specialties. But unfortunately, we are on planet Earth.

Reviews of great images. I don’t know her music but I know her story (obviously for the same reason mentioned by Lukin).
