The vote was for Schnittke, whom I already know, of course :)

I had missed this precious review; I had only read the one on the Piano Quintet... and I see that the comments are equally precious! I will get this record without any hesitation...

On the other hand, that CD was given to me by Caz ;)

Hey, I just noticed that on the Esterhazy page I linked, at the end of the book review there's the phrase "Between these two poles, the whole and the nothing, moves the destiny of the Esterhazy" :) I assure you, I didn't do it on purpose! And I assure you, it's a pleasure to find this strange correspondence... Aloha

And finally the third from the Piano Quartet "In l'istesso tempo," which gives the album its title. Enjoy listening, everyone. And with this, gentlemen, I bid you farewell :)

The second is taken from V&V, for violin and taped voice. (it's hard to choose the pieces, each track is 20 minutes long...)

...why? Where do you see "Part" written? ;-) (thank you, I had missed that) // Here are the samples. The first one is taken from the first of the three works included in this edition: Time... And Again, for piano and violin.

Dear Wanderer, thank you for your trust first of all, but Schnittke has already been masterfully reviewed by JoP, for which I will never be grateful enough for introducing me to him: it is through Schnittke (a first-level genius) that I discovered Kancheli... and also the good Sofia, whom I still know (very) little about. Perhaps, about her, you! :)

...I would add that the beauty of DeB lies precisely in the variety of styles, so such elegant writings are welcome, especially in the face of certain "tides" of nonsense. Criticisms (even anonymous ones) are also part of the game, so Wanderer, as far as I'm concerned, feel free to keep it up because it’s a pleasure to read you! :)
