Yes Zarathustra, it is obviously a stretch on my part. I'm just saying that among the many styles somewhat anticipated by the VU, I don’t think it’s far-fetched to include this one as well. The important thing is to enjoy this record anyway, which I invite BeatBoy to do IMMEDIATELY. Cheers.

Yes, it’s a very bold comparison (and not easy to explain), but a nascent form of all "club" genres shines through with its straight 4/4 rhythm and a repeated melodic theme, combined with the obsessiveness of a drugged atmosphere (I’m reminded of White Light White Heat even though it’s not on this record), I can see it. But my mental musings matter little compared to the fact that the pioneering value (in every sense) of this album is even greater when you consider that in many aspects, besides being "pioneers," they were also the "best": which is not common in the history of music.

Here, Duane, I hope you made a mistake in writing... "discrete disco"? 1? That's bad.

I will tell you anyway that this apparent nonsense of house for me is not at all devoid of charm - but it's a matter of personal perceptions.

So many times on the verge of getting my hands on this concert, I’ve always ended up postponing it in favor of something else. Your excellent, excellent page will push me more decisively next time; I think it will be worth it, if nothing else, to reread the review while listening to the work in question... Best regards.

Don't stone me, but Schumann doesn't drive me crazy; his stylistic traits just don't resonate with me compared to others of his time. Wonderful review as always, greetings to the loggione :)

Anyway, the author of that review and Jarrettiano coincide, so all good. Regards.

I still don't know, Frantz. I think I'll have to choose between the Jarrett concert in Venice and Italy-Czech Republic in Hamburg... :D

Hi guys, I see there's an air of resignation about Venice, and unfortunately, it's not easy for me either... I've never heard this concert, the review is very significant.
