No, no, I use rauco and roco interchangeably, don't worry; it's just that I've never denied that Nico's voice is roca/rauca. But is it quivery or not?

So, is it trembling or not? Fragile, uncertain, looking like it's about to break? Nico, precursor to Kazu Makino, this is the real news of the day! :D

Then, excuse me, first you say "she's trembling" and then you go through the trouble of proving that she's hoarse? You see that deep down you know you said something stupid? :D

Where did I say she isn't hoarse, excuse me?

Thank you for the documents in my favor :) Where does it say that it's tremulous? I read hoarse, masculine, low, intense, deep, clear. Absolutely nothing to do with tremulous. Thank you, really, you've saved me time.

<< Ah, so you don't like Nico's voice, okay. >> ...so you admit it, that it's not shaky :D Ooooh, was that so hard? (Anyway, yes, I like it even if it's not shaky, I didn't say it's a necessary condition)

Do you see that you are trapped in technique and can't break free? :D What does knowing about singing have to do with it? What does technique have to do with Nico's voice (and all the VU)? Here it’s all about the Italian: tremula means fragile, uncertain, and if Nico's voice is fragile and uncertain then I’m a Berlusconian.

The definition in this case is not formal but substantial. "Tremula" does not mean "roca." I don't like hoarse voices (except for Tom Waits and a few others), but I do like all trembling ones. Tremula, of voice: "which reveals insecurity and hesitation." Roco, of voice: "low, almost muffled or even harsh, altered" (demauroparavia.it). There are two possibilities: either you don't know Italian or you have the musical sensitivity of a poplar (tremulous).

Another point; write: "I knew we would end up in a sordid and deaf defense of Nico, so I clearly highlight the passages where Nico's voice gives way decisively." Defense? Give way decisively? For me, Nico's voice is beautiful, but it is universally known that trembling voices are the ones that captivate me the most (I have a very sensitive ear regarding this), and hers is not. Period.

Furthermore, despite his cold Nordic look, I don't actually find Nico that appealing aesthetically, so I’m being totally objective, dear Enea. Come on, admit it was a nonsense and let’s leave it at that.
