After 5-6 listens:
. Burn The Witch remains the best track
. True Love Waits deserved a spot on an LP and in this arrangement it’s even more beautiful
. Daydreaming and Glass Eyes have nice ideas but mostly sound like missed opportunities
. The rest of the album seems uninspired to me, but the tracks are enhanced by very effective arrangements
. Identikit and Desert Island Disk are the worst tracks
Overall, a better album than King of Limbs but decidedly inferior not only to the "big ones" (Kid A / Amnesiac and OKC) but also to Hail to the Thief and In Rainbows.

And I had never read it, this splendid review of the tamburino. An album that, at the time of its release, I believe was underestimated by many; perhaps a natural reaction in front of the "new" release from an artist who had Nmila classics to his name, due to that sort of nostalgic passivism that is hard to avoid. 17 years later, it is a classic in its own right, and among the most treasured.

I really liked it. The poster shouldn't be deceiving.

But has this record (with some spectacular tracks) ever known any form of distribution?

I haven't auscultated it yet. I hope to be able to take care of it as soon as possible; the description is inviting.
