Pupa, you're fantastic! After we said goodbye on equus, I kept humming it for half the trip: now we need a compilation of singles from you! ing.pup.dj! PS do you remember which Cure cover the Dinosaur Jr. did?

I barely noticed it and now I have all their albums at home... not at all regretful, light and enjoyable, even when they dive into the melancholic, and then a beautiful voice and songs with remarkable melodies... but with each album, less and less, who knows if I’ll feel like listening to this latest one. I’m just glad that after the greatest hits they didn’t come out with the usual magazine cliché “the return of...”, “the new sound of...”, a sign of sincerity, after all... who knows, maybe a listen can be given...

AA.VV. Trainspotting

A while back, I found myself in a job interview when the fateful question came up - what’s the last movie you saw... My answer was this film, not out of a desire to impress the interviewer, but simply because during that time, Trainspotting had overshadowed any other film I had seen. It goes without saying that I never heard back about that interview, but now I suspect the interviewer was a devotchka ;)

@easycure: have you listened to the organ? they are a group of Canadian girls with a sound very reminiscent of The Smiths/The Cure's seventeen seconds era - a bit too much, as tends to happen these days, but still enjoyable...

At the traffic festival in Turin, they played it in full before the performance of the 808 State, absolutely perfect from start to finish... great review BTW.

As per the text message, Cocorosie put together slow-motion images of Care Bears, at least until the video froze because someone tried to send a love declaration to their MacBook via Bluetooth ;) On Google, however, I can't find any further details at this level about the Aphex Twin/Cunningham performance and whether it really was simultaneous or not...

But weren't the images supposed to be by Chris Cunningham? Where has the poetry of the robots from Björk's "All is full of love" video gone?
