Pulp Different Class

Let's all meet up in the yeeeer two-thousand, wouldn't it be nice if we were fully grown!!! I could defend Pulp tooth and nail from all their detractors just for Jarvis Cocker's lyrics; even in this case, they manage to save and make a song fun with a riff that's practically a plagiarism of "Gloria" by Tozzi (which, unfortunately, had crossed national borders, so not many excuses...).

Good job little, although they have always seemed to me a bit like wannabe Portishead and Gibbons' voice remains an unattainable goal for me. The last album seemed a bit more interesting to me; if I remember correctly it was a musical-style project, although I didn't delve into it much... was it 2 Wicky rather than sample?

finally josi_! if there are cowbells, squeak, various noises, and maybe some shouting (though I might be asking too much here :D) I'm interested in the genre, I'm also on the cover of sun blow up.71 Blow Up magazine: rock e altre contaminazioni maybe it'll take away from my mind the association of the French with those pizzas of Carla Bruni...
David Sylvian & Robert Fripp The First Day

Beautiful review Fosca, for me Sylvian and Fripp are still uncharted territory, but maybe this is the right time...

"Smash It Up" from the previous one was a gem to jump, dance, and scream to... it needs to be explored, great review!

How strange, it’s a travel album for me too; I hadn’t even had time to listen to it when it came out, also because e-bow the letter as the first single seemed to me like a copy of country feedback from out of time, which I absolutely love, and bittersweet me... well, let’s not go there. Instead, I changed my mind after a series of mandatory listens during trips with friends who happen to have certain tapes stuck in the car radio... but for me, the 5 is from Up!

Great suggestion, I saw them a few years ago back when they released their first album, opening for Wilco at Magazzini Generali in Milan. Really pleasant to listen to, they put on a pretty substantial set more tilted towards pop/rock than ballads, but really well done. Songs like Falling Away stick in your mind with their simplicity and remind me of something between early R.E.M. and Dinosaur Jr.

thank you ...damn...! if it were me getting shaken like a milkshake by Kelis ;) by the way, I discovered a wonderful remix of Provider made by Zero 7, funny enough already mentioned in Frantz's comment, what a strange connection...
