beautiful mention, Fosca, and it's a pleasure to see you again! My interest in the comics area comes and goes, but I was very intrigued by the cross-media aspect of the work rendered on printed paper instead of online, where we’re used to changes in "context," especially since the medium allows for it easily... It makes me think of the emails inserted throughout the narrative in Eco's *The Pendulum of Foucault* or the police reports and other documents that appear in Ellroy's *Underworld USA Trilogy*.

Good job, Muld, excellent review. I’d say it comes from a fan trying to set aside the irrationality and uncritical nature of being a fan. I couldn’t tell you if you’ve succeeded or not, but that’s not important; under the same conditions, I wouldn’t have been able to write as well. It does unsettle me a bit that josi appreciates it... What is certain is that while this album might seem weaker than others in terms of songs, I appreciate it precisely for its greater homogeneity and coherence, the richness of the arrangements, a more fluid grammar in the lyrics, and a more composed voice that’s less front and center than usual. I don’t know how much of that is by choice or the current state of mind of Carmen.

Well done, I don't know if I will feel like committing to jazz as needed, but reading you has truly been a pleasure.

welcome synth-charmer, I'm waiting for a proper listen to the album upon its release - after all, the style of massive attack doesn't really go well with haste - in the meantime, I'm struck by the fact that you consider it the most rock of their discography, more than Mezzanine, which seemed to me an explicit declaration of intent to enhance their live impact.

Good job, Socrates, nice recovery, I'm also redoing my voice that mimics the guitar in "boy who cried wolf undededuu dededuu."

Hello caz! Is there more sweat and bitter water in this DVD or in the one by Soulwax? Part of the Weekend Never Dies
The Cure The Cure [UK edition] / The End Of The World [CD single]

great review, hypnosphere boy, for a fanboy of the cure like me with a tendency towards encyclopedic delirium, discovering these backgrounds about the album in question is truly fascinating. Even though my ear has automatically filtered their studio productions for several years now, they slide off me like an indistinct blob, albeit a pleasant one, except perhaps for the lost you mentioned, one of their last things that stuck in my memory - btw I saw the cranes live with the cure at a festival in Milan almost 15 years ago...

ahem I too, back in the days of the string of double 1s at the consoli, would have significantly raised the average :)

I watched the music video distractedly and it didn't particularly impress me either as a song or as a clip, but the information about the "electronic battle weapon" was an interesting tidbit about chemists that I was missing, my encyclopedic self thanks you!
