And fortunately, you didn’t know whether to write it... I’ll tell you that this is part of the large group of reviews I’ve always wanted to write but I don’t know if I ever will for many reasons, including the TOO much love. It comforts me enormously that at least in one case this has been done anyway and, moreover, excellently. Well done. PS: this is by far my favorite of all your work and I’ve consumed THE AGE OF SELF for hours and years. PS: to everyone who has been intrigued by Socrates -> GET THIS CD.

Wow Frantz, what a piece of commentary! I'll listen to it again more carefully and with more effort, also to do justice to the zzzzzzzzzzzzz. Kisses

A year after my previous post: I completely agree with you, DuneB.: out of the Duke's last 5 works, OUTSIDE and HEATHEN are "can't live without" for me.. and I’ll vote for you again.

Every time the Duke is reviewed, I never know whether to post the review or not; this is because for me, talking about a Great Love while trying to be as objective as possible isn’t that simple. So often, I just read and move on. However, this particular review is truly beautiful and piques the interest of a fan who has followed him forever, who owns the original 45 rpm of Heroes, who has read everything and more about him, who has the entire official discography on vinyl and CD, plus dozens of unreleased tracks and bootlegs; I swear, sparking curiosity is no easy feat. The review is also beautiful because it summarizes an important part of his journey; therefore, I won’t give opinions and/or judgments about what is better or worse in Bowie’s production according to my taste and affection. Just sharing my thoughts on how you talk about it. So I’m giving you a solid 5. Kisses

Really??? I mean, by the time I got to Bela Lugosi, I already wanted to throw it out the window.. It’s not without charm, is it just flabby? But you zzzzzzzzzz pass me by so nonchalantly like a lady in a long dress from Xiu Xiu to the bossa nova of Nouvelle 2, the revenge? A legend.
