Interesting Fidia, I listened to the samples (even though the vocals seemed a bit buried under the other instruments, but maybe it's just the sound quality of my PC). First impressions: definitely very Cure, at times my bloody valentine, and overall (I want to make a bold comparison), they gave me the impression of a gothic version of Jefferson Airplane... but tell me, did you like Scisma?

I had this on cassette...solid, compact, a good death metal album, definitely the best of their career (after this, if I remember correctly, they'll venture into experimentation, with little success...). You brought them back to my mind, but I must say they didn't look bad in the dust of oblivion...I bet you also like Cancer by Black Faith, right?
Entombed DCLXVI - To Ride, Shoot Straight And Speak The Truth!

Well done again this time, I like your tastes, you remind me of myself in the nineties... I'll always hold Entombed in my heart, I find them too likable, but I abandoned them with the excellent Wolverine Blues... I don't know why, partly because of the not-so-inviting reviews, partly because I simply got tired... this, from what little I've heard, didn't seem bad, maybe a bit too loose...

trees in winter is a great album, and it represents the genre well...it's just that it's no longer available (well, you can download it) and at times it's a bit too rough (a few missed notes here and there, for example) so I wouldn't want certain imperfections to discourage newcomers to the genre...sorry if I'm being predictable, but for prog I would start with "in the court of the crimson king"...

I had sent it along with the previous one.....

Big question... hey, try "but, what ends when the symbols shatter?" by Death in June, in my opinion the milestone of the genre (it's all folk, zero industrial, maybe a bit monotone but it's a good first taste to get to know the genre). Or you can try the latest from Current 93, "black ships ate the sky," which is easy to find and has also been liked by people outside the genre, partly due to the participation of many guests like bonnie "prince" billy, antony, baby dee, etc. If the first one is a classic, this is a listen that can give you a good overview of the genre...
Therion Lepaca Kliffoth

Vovin is certainly better packaged and refines and elevates the insights from Theli to a further level of perfection, but in my opinion, Theli was the real bomb in Therion's discography; it was truly revolutionary, the one that leaves you speechless, the one that laid the foundations for the subsequent sound. And the tracks, although rougher, sound more brilliant to me... Vovin, at times, bores me and already smells a bit of mannerism: used to continuous growth and change, when it came out, it left me somewhat indifferent because it was the first album by Therion that didn't amaze and didn't change the game... and from there, I progressively lost interest in the band... anyway, it's between those two that one must search for the masterpiece...

I'm sorry for the poor quality of the cover image, but I couldn't find a better one (fire + ice are really not given much consideration online)... the review itself is just a whim, since more than a notification (I don't think it will interest many, if not the few fans of the band... if they even exist...), it's a piece that I felt like adding to the debaser archive... I think that with this addition debaser is the most prepared site in Italy regarding fire + ice ('sti cazz...)... thanks anyway for your loyalty, but I also think I will take a break from apocalyptic folk for the moment...
Arcana Cantar De Procella

Dear, I'm afraid you will be disappointed... aside from the piece "Cantar de Procella," which is a true masterpiece to me, the tracks are quite monolithic and instrumentally simple... in short, they are incomparable to Dark Sanctuary, who offer a more complex and refined proposal... Arcana focus more on atmosphere and exaggeration, but as musicians and composers, they are clearly inferior to DS, being closer to dark ambient than to true chamber music... that's why I think it's pointless to download single tracks: it makes more sense to let yourself be enveloped by the overall atmosphere of the album... piece by piece is how this album works its effects... anyway, I recommend the more recent "Inner Pale Sun," which is more elegant and better arranged/performed...

Ah, sorry, I thought you were referencing them because they were similar to the arcana... but are they like Nortt?
