Jimi Hendrix The Rainbow Bridge Concert
Voto:
I gave the album a 3 because I don't know it, and I would like to listen to it. Jimi Hendrix is among my favorite guitarists, and I have almost all of his discography, including the unforgettable Woodstock concert. Congratulations on the review. Excellent.
Goblin Zombi - The Complete Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
Voto:
Congratulations on the review and on the choice of the group. I love Goblin, especially in the soundtracks of "Tenebre" or "Suspiria." Their music sends shivers down my spine.

Sorry, but I made a small syntax error! "Sull'affermazioni" should be written as "sulle affermazioni."
The Beatles The Beatles Collection (16 CD)

If you say that "they managed to create (not invent) pop," then it must be true!! I think they suck and I disagree with the claim that many musicians or groups have been inspired by them. Another thing: you say they made pop commercial, and that this is often not a flaw: never was there a more false statement. Commercial music is fine for the masses, for people who know little about music and are guided by catchy rhythms and easy choruses. Real music is something entirely different. Certainly, the Beatles played a significant role in pop, and only in pop, and I believe that theirs was a phenomenon that was primarily cultural rather than musical. Ultimately, the most overrated group in music, but perhaps also the most underrated. I am an advocate of the first thesis.
Steve Vai Live At The Astoria London
Voto:
Congratulations on the review!! I absolutely must have this DVD!! I completely share what you wrote about Steve Vai; a guitarist like few others, an extraordinary virtuoso and composer, endowed with excellent technique. Let’s remember that he studied with his majesty Frank Zappa, as well as with the great Joe Satriani!! You conveyed well the significance that this guitarist has (rightfully) had in the last 15-20 years. Keep it up.
Ligabue Nome E Cognome
Voto:
But can you explain to me how the hell you can listen to Ligabue??? He always uses the same 3-4 chords to compose his songs, which are nothing special. But for fuck's sake, why are there people who worship him like a God???? I just don't get it!!!
Oasis (What's The Story) Morning Glory?
Voto:
And then, I, who have listened to some Oasis albums, because I believe that for every band, even if they suck, you need to hear at least one album, can tell you that they have released better ones than this one you rave about. For example, "Standing on the Shoulder of Giants," which shows that they know how to play a thing or two.
Oasis (What's The Story) Morning Glory?
Voto:
A bad album, definitely too commercial, made up mainly of clichéd songs, sometimes almost trivial. But where has the real music gone??? You can't listen to Oasis, damn it!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations on the review, it’s interesting and very well done. As for the rest, I completely agree with you; the Beatles are unfortunately the most overrated band in history and, as you rightly say, their music is largely outdated today, while that of other bands (Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Deep Purple, or Blue Oyster Cult) still finds space in modern music. One has to wonder how the Liverpool quartet achieved this global success while other artists who are much more talented, innovative, and experimental did not. I also agree about the album; it’s worth a listen to try to understand the Beatles and their music, but nothing more.
