If I remember correctly, this is an album made with the best (?) remixes created by users of their site. By purchasing Discovery, you found the password to access a protected area of the site where you could upload your remix. In the end, the Daft chose the most deserving ones and made a CD. A shameless commercial operation? Given the quality, I would definitely say yes!

Very intriguing this CD! I finally managed to listen to it, and I must say that here and there it reminds me of Kasabian and Grandaddy (see for example in "drink")!
