who knows why anonymous/offensive comments are always anonymous! I hope you are new here, because otherwise you haven't understood anything about Debaser's philosophy: the beauty here is the FREEDOM to express your own opinions. This CD didn't say anything to me, but if you like it, write another review! It wouldn't be the first or last time there are two (discordant) reviews for the same album! Another thing: if you want a "professional" review, go elsewhere (ondarock, kalporz, scaruffi, and a thousand others). I'm a dude who loves music, ignorant enough not to know that in one song from this album Billy duets with Chamberlain, but that's fine: if you really want to label me as a "reviewer," I'm PROUD to be a "reviewer alla amatriciana," because for me, most of the reviews you find on those websites are IMPERSONAL, BORING, LONG, and TEDIOUS. I’m not looking for approval, fame, or anything other than a bit of healthy fun in writing about music, and to those who take it personally like you and the other anonymous ones, I say "smile and the world will smile with you, cry and you will cry alone"! be good! and in solidarity with you, I’m giving myself a nice 1! Here you go! :)

I like the note on "let down", in my opinion it's really underrated. Speaking of "let down": I read somewhere that they never play it live because shortly after recording it they lost (and here's the point where I might say something stupid out of ignorance) the sheet/musical score/whatever it's called to do it again. In short, they can no longer replicate it even similarly to the CD, and that's why they don't play it live! Funny, right? :) Anyway, my favorite is "subterranean homesick alien"... I wonder why! ;)

this album is extraordinary, with stunning beauty: every song gets stuck in your head (maybe not the titles, right j_? ;)) and never leaves. one standout? "Death of an interior decorator," whose buildup halfway through the song is a true gem! sam...do you like the cd? :)

Judging by the sample, it doesn't seem like the typical Coldplay album! :) Nice, Nick!
