The period of the BBC sessions for me corresponds to the peak of Plant's voice. I also find the performances monstrous. To be honest, I much prefer the first album, the one predominantly blues, with the three monstrous performances of Communication Breakdown and Page's guitar with that characteristic raspy sound typical of all the BBC sessions.
