THE REVIEW

I'm searching for the words to explain what could have been born and brought light back to my eyes...

"What could have been" is the flagship of those "fake nice little guys" called by 14-year-old fans Gemelli Diversi but in some cases also "Grido nudo"....

Nothing will be born in my eyes, the feeling is strong, their catchy little songs are cute though, like the zero assoluto they manage to push "fake" rap and they also dress very well, there is the dark-haired guy who sings the melodic parts, then there's Grido, the brother of j-ax, who dresses like an equestrian, then there's the one who dyes his hair and always wears sunglasses because his eyes are like Silvester (adrian bernard') Stallone's, and he always shows off his abs, then the DJ, a funny chubby guy who is evidently a subordinate of the unemployed group with little desire to work and lots of appetite, appears in the background and plays a bit with the scratch.

The Gemelli Diversi are a national pride akin to José Altafini and Laura Pausini, they even had a beef with Fabri Fibra and their response is truly pathetic. They are the exciting twins of the Italian scene, something we should be proud of, their story starts from '96 and therefore there is respect for that, but it is also true that the position must be maintained, and they certainly have not maintained the keep'on movit, in fact they were taught the dance steps by ghe(y)rrison from 'Amici', and now they are "HipHop embarrassed ballerina pop", about their commerciality I think there is nothing more to say, about their lyrics it would be like shooting on the Red Cross, then their texts are incredibly directed at fat and unlovable teenagers.

"Rap is something else" a friend once told me, our hip-hop costantinis have also pimped the scooters of half of Italy and they will tell us about it in another splendid CD. It seems that on the cover the GD have decided to put their two musical idols Cristina D'avena and Jo Squillo.

Truly out... like in DeBaser.

Summary by Bot

The review examines Gemelli Diversi's debut album with a mix of appreciation for catchy songs and skepticism about their commercial rap style. It describes their image, references their rivalry with Fabri Fibra, and questions their lyrical depth. Despite some respect for their history, the review suggests their music feels overly commercial and lacks true hip-hop authenticity.
