Zappa is Zappa and that’s that. I really like him a lot, but it’s pretty cliché to give 4 or 5 to his albums every time. Someone not exactly stunning has done it too (there are few, but it has happened). This is one of those. When compared, for example, to the true masterpieces, like "Hot Rats", it’s clear that this "Apostrophe" is inferior, less refined in sounds, less experimental, and even a bit boring (which rarely happens to Zappa, almost never). From the Seventies, "Sheik Yerbouti" is by far better.
