Rino Gaetano Escluso il cane
Voto:
"Aida" is a beautiful piece, but, as lovely as it is, it's not the best track on the album. To be fair, it’s a form of (almost) social protest, but can we compare it to the masturbatory poetry of "Sei ottavi" or the caustic and biting power of "Spendi spandi effendi"?
Giorgio Gaber Raccolta Anni '60
Voto:
Sorry, yes the piece is essential. However, I forgot to tell you that the rest is not that great, cold and not very exciting. A bit flat, but the good old Riccardo raises the average. Gaber, however, has done better. Five frankly seems too much to me. IT'S NOT ME, IT'S THE FAKE THAT SPEWS BULLSHIT. ON THE OTHER HAND, IT'S EASY TO KNOW WHEN IT'S ME, JUST CLICK ON THE NICK AND SEE IF REVIEWS APPEAR. WHAT A FOOL THAT FAKE!

The first of Verdena wasn't ugly, then they became a bit 'banalized', but there were flashes of great music here. Painful notes, the review: we understood that you didn't like the album, but the reason why not (it gives you a headache, fine, but that's not a musical critical judgment), and then these reviews written in dialect lead to depression (who are you, the reincarnation of Aldo Fabrizi?). Alright then, tomorrow I'll write a nice review in tight Milanese dialect too. That way half of the DeBaser users wouldn't understand anything, what a laugh.
Robert Wyatt Old Rottenhat
Voto:
Here I must remain silent. The only work of Robert Wyatt I know is the well-known "Rock Bottom" (and to be honest, it has never really thrilled me much). This one is so unfamiliar to me that I find it hard to think that I might listen to it someday, but the review is truly beautiful, comprehensive, and essential.
Madonna True Blue
Voto:
Well, after the musical-sociological phenomenon of "Like A Virgin," Mrs. Ciccone could have sung anything, even "Quel mazzolin di fiori," without anyone being able to say anything, given the enormous success she was destined for. But she wears the garments of innovation with class; the Spanish-influenced "Isla Bonita" is certainly not resting on her laurels. It was the peak of artistic splendor reached by Madonna, before the increasingly vulgar antics of "Erotica" and various obscenities.
The Blues Brothers The Blues Brothers
Voto:
An absolute cult, film and album. Perfect review.
Francesco De Gregori Bufalo Bill
Voto:
More than the review, I’m astonished by the previous comments: is this album not the best? But excuse me, perhaps you couldn’t grasp all the nuances and hidden meanings of this record, or maybe you are among those who prefer the spontaneity (and the banality) of "Prendere e lasciare" or the last anonymous works of De Gregori. I really don’t understand: among "Ninetto e la colonia," "Ultimo discorso registrato," "Festival," "Santa Lucia," there’s an embarrassment of choices. And then there’s "Atlantide," one of De Gregori’s peaks. Poetry like he will never write again.
Radiohead The Bends
Voto:
The review consists of 3 words, 1 concept, and some obvious statements. I don't like it; it feels like an essay from fifth grade. The album, however, even though it’s not the best from Radiohead (I agree with Punisher, "Ok Computer" and "Kid A" are beautiful), seems to me a great example of how music could be conceived in the mid-nineties: minimalistic, essential, and capable of traversing futuristic atmospheres and notes, almost like a soundtrack for a great sci-fi movie with a lot of substance and few special effects. And this story that Tom Yorke's voice is terrible is older than the jokes about Pierino: come up with something more original.
Queen I'm Going Sligthly Mad
Voto:
I give you 5 for a simple reason: you managed to write well and sufficiently about one of the most useless things in the history of music, "I'm Going Slightly Mad" by Queen, an awful track from an even more obscene album, "Innuendo." I must say it’s not easy to speak well, with proper language and valid arguments, about something that is completely pointless. You did it, and that's not a flaw; in fact, it's a merit.
Inti Illimani La Nueva Cancion Chilena
Voto:
I’ve never been able to stand Inti Illimani, partly because I don’t like that kind of music, partly due to political beliefs that are very distant from crap like “Viva el Che!”
