But kosmogabri, what do you know about Anita Lane? Dirty Pearl? I would love to hear what you think...

I didn't express myself well; I said everyone except Italians who don't know a thing about English, while abroad everyone knows it... The song I meant anyway was "the inevitable return of the great white dope," really beautiful!

I think it's anitalane.com unfortunately you won't find much information around. Thank you very much.

I believe he meant concise... but if it was a joke, it’s very English... much more refined than the explicitly clear Bloodhound Gang!

What a fine and constructive comment, I'll think about it...

Personally, I find "Fidelity" very beautiful, with the broken chorus that is not at all banal, as you say. "Better" is a nice pop-rock song; it may not be very original, but it has a good melody and is very well performed. Sorry to insist, but I believe the value of these songs might reveal itself over time. They gave me the same impression you had the first times I listened to them. That said... long live Spektor anyway, as she is likable, talented, and doesn't act all high and mighty :-)

Aside from the fact that, apart from the Italians, everyone knew what they were singing in that song... the single is very nice, even though I preferred the next one, something like "the incredible return of the ..." well...

Why see sounds that are a bit more open to other genres as something negative? The album is still original and beautiful! If an artist continued to cling to their narrow genre for their entire life, I think no one would buy the tenth album due to its predictability!!!

the reviewer is indeed objective... what are the best groups (in the same genre obviously)?
