The parallel and the relative comparative principle do not appeal to me at all. It's true that rankings are always debatable, but I would comfortably use the superlative for Faber as well, who in his history has proven to transform and collaborate in a way unknown to others, always leaving a well-defined and recognizable imprint of his contribution. In summary, if Brassens was a great artist, so was Faber.

In addition to this CD, there is a volume 2 live (red cover) which, however, seems less carefully curated in its tracklist compared to volume 1 (blue cover). Still, having a vivid memory of the concert that Faber held in Sassari for Anime Salve, I don't listen to these live editions very much. As for the bathing, plenty of it at Stintino and Alghero as usual :)) P.S. This year's Time in Jazz will feature a tribute to Faber by Rita Marcotulli and Maria Pia De Vito, which will be interesting since it will take place at the Agnata (so if you happen to be around these parts, now you know) ;) Haloa
