Yes, they inspire me. The CD is currently on "stand by"; before making new purchases, I need to properly enjoy a good number of CDs. :)

Nick Drake Pink Moon

It's been so long since I've listened to this wonderful, restless, haunting, bitter, and melancholic album. And this despite keeping it at the top of the pile of singer-songwriter CDs for easy access. It was the first album by Nick Drake that I listened to so many years ago. Although short, it has a unique intensity, yet troubled, built through a series of small masterpieces that tear at the heart, difficult to describe. Perhaps I prefer "Five Leaves Left," rather, let’s say I listen to it more often because it hurts less. I’ve never understood why Nick Drake didn’t receive the recognition he so richly deserved during his lifetime, especially considering the influence he had in the years following his passing. Maybe he lived in the wrong moment (here's the other cover immagine:B00000064G.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg)

Frantz, I tried to listen to it, but in the end, I preferred to get the latest Dr. John album. Why? I’ll tell you when you write the review :) bye.

Okay Frantz, you write the review, I'll go by my dealer and try to listen to it to get an idea. It's true that if they've almost completely abandoned fado ... well. Bye.
Leonard Cohen New Skin for the Old Ceremony

I didn't want to say anything about this review because it seemed pointless, and perhaps it still is. For me, it's very beautiful because it's never easy to review albums of this value and talk about artists of such importance. Emily, however, managed to do it wonderfully. "Cohen's songs evoke silence, summon truths, common existential figures..." how much I found myself in this beautiful phrase. And I vote again. Ah Nick, I almost forgot, even if you’re not crazy about Cohen, you're great :)
