this album isn’t bad, I listened to it tonight, it’s nothing memorable but pleasant and sincere. The lyrics (from a superficial listening) aren’t bad either. It’s acceptable. Bye

As already mentioned in the twin review, this album is pleasantly brutal. Zurk, as always, you’re right; you don’t understand a thing ;))))

Thanks man, you explained yourself perfectly, you showed me the way like Virgil did with Dante in hell :) now I'll decide whether to take it or not... tomorrow I’ll stop by soulsonix and see what they say. Bye

And where did this come from? You can definitely feel the effect of the alcohol :) but maybe to review this guy you need it :) I really liked Ultravisitor. But does this album deserve it or not?
Caetano Veloso Antologia 67/03
Voto:
True, it was missing. Great anthology, excellent selection. Everyone should have at least one of his albums. This two-CD anthology (special price) is perfect to fill a gap in your collection or to start getting to know him. The only flaw (if I remember correctly) is the booklet, which is a bit sparse. I've listened a lot to the tribute to Federico Fellini and Giulietta Masina from a few years ago as well. Some found it rather cloying at the time, but as usual ... de gustibus, as far as I'm concerned, it's a stunning album. The review is very detailed, but one can get a bit lost. Well, still nuances.

The only thing I'm a bit uncertain about is the authorship of the album, which perhaps can't be attributed to the Gotan Project, but rather to Philippe Cohen Solal alone, whom you rightly mention. Well, nuances... Bye.

Not bad at all, this record. The title is full of charm. The CD listens to us in one breath. It starts where the revanche of tango left off, but then, as you rightly point out, it shifts atmospheres to reconnect with tango. I found it very elegant. The glossy black packaging is stunning and also contains a DVD with a video made by the French photographer Prisca Lobjoy, which I haven't watched yet. A note of praise for "round about midnight," in which the Gotan Project meets the immortal and wonderful trumpet of Chet Baker, a thrill down the spine. Well done, manumission, both for the choice and for the analysis. Welcome.

I didn't say it’s a bad album, the memory isn't unpleasant, but it didn’t leave a mark (at least for me) in fact I had completely forgotten about it. This weekend, though, I'm taking it with me, who knows, maybe I'll change my mind :) bye
