"Hard Normal Daddy" is the second album by Squarepusher, the first released, in '97, by Warp Records of Aphex Twin, and it is considered by many to be his true masterpiece.
12 tracks filled with frenzied beats, samples cut in a more than frantic manner, and melodies with a vague jazz and fusion flavor form an almost perfect mosaic, except perhaps for "Fat Controller," a turn towards hip hop reminiscent of Chemical Brothers: not bad, but maybe a bit out of context with the album.
In short, the "pusher of the square" hits the mark again and gives us another top-notch ganja... Sorry, another beautiful album like "Hard Normal Daddy"! ;D
