Aimee Mann Lost In Space

I really like this album, just a bit more than Bachelor No. 2, which has been keeping me company these days. It's a very fitting record for its freshness in these times. A precise and clear review, nothing to say.

The samples didn't impress me even though they left me with the impression that the best was yet to come, especially the first one. Nice review even though Leonard Cohen and Nick Drake are big names to use for comparison :)

I "discovered" her in the duo with Yann Tiersen - a nice album even if not thrilling for me - and I remember that many compared her to PJ Harvey, who I see resurfacing as a reference in this review, sparking my curiosity again. Yes, Festwca is right, nice geek proposals. Bye.

I remember Florence... what a concert for "Big In Japan" when he called his son to play the drums :)

The risk exists, there's no denying that, but in this case, it’s only barely touched upon, especially since the person who conceived the album was truly a great friend of Elliott. For those who aren’t familiar with him, I think it’s better to take a look at the history of this musician rather than starting with this album. Bye and thanks.

To be honest, I didn't like this album very much; perhaps the boundary between the dreamlike and sleep is thin in my case. That said, the review is pleasant and well done. I don't know if you've also heard Nolita by Karen Ann, who sings on this album; it wasn't bad. Bye.

Welcome back John, I've missed your reviews for a while. You suggest a particular and poignant album that I've wanted to talk about, but I've never found the right angle. I'm glad you reviewed this album (I pray for the samples). Bye :)
