Great Bartle and great Tankard: speed, power, Harris production very good, solos in "Tromba d'aria" and "Lovecats", vocalist similar to Robert Gonella but better, drummer all rolls and go there's still more!!! Tonight I got really pumped up with this little disc while driving home. Very self-deprecating, a rare quality in the Thrash ocean, and therefore likable; maybe they always do the same things, but this album is very good. Thank you Bartleboom for your very frank, knowledgeable, and detailed review: DDDDD Speed-Thrash forever!!!

Thunder and lightning! I missed this great review. I've never heard the band, but now I can make up for it: your analysis convinced me (prog - Bay Area - amazing singer). Forbidden Evil is one of the best debuts in Thrash, and the cover is stunning (de gustibus). Full availability :D!!

Hi ocram, I came to take a look at this review and I’ll tell you right away that I’m not a big fan of Def Leppard; in fact, I’ve only listened to "Hysteria" from their albums. However, since I feel a bit ignorant, I’m going to take some time to revisit this record. The review is really excellent; I read it with pleasure and interest. I’m sure I’ll change my mind; Def Leppard are not a bluff; they are great musicians, even though over the years they gave the impression of being chart-topping stars. I remember a statement from Joe Elliott during the "Euphoria" era where he claimed that they didn’t see themselves as rivals to Korn, in terms of sales, but to Madonna. Anyway, great job and congrats! :D

Bartleboom & ocram, thank you so much, you’re too kind. I’m not a big fan of SFU, but I tried to discuss their music impartially; my rating would be a 3 and a half, but I gave them a four for their resonance and the sick sound they managed to express. I’m really happy with your comments and your attention. @thetrooper, thanks to you too. @autopilot, I’d say I agree with your analysis, and I like the fact that you highlighted these statements from Allen. Certainly, SFU has always been overrated, that’s for sure. Barnes interested in money? Probably yes, given the sales of the subsequent full-length; he had sniffed out the right formula: cover + deep growl + violent slowness. Until next time!

Thank you ocram, you are a derecensor whom I hold in great esteem; it’s always a pleasure to read one of your comments.

@ocram+Bartleboom: I thank you for the appreciation you've shown me, which is the same I have for you and your reviews. Reading your excellent reviews made me a bit nostalgic; at this moment, I am filling some musical gaps, slowly regaining my enthusiasm to talk about music, at least decently. You are always amazing, I have learned so much from you, not to take anything away from other great reviewers (see Tepes or The Green Manalishi). Excellent review. See you soon! :)

You have an excellent knowledge of The Police. I bought "Police Academy" years ago and it's very nice, especially "New World Blues" and "Lady Delight." Congratulations on the review, I agree with everything and I just want to add that almost all the songs are top-notch, except for "Born.." but above all we have some old (so to speak) newcomers (Andy Summers is from '42) who sweep away other young talents. I almost wore out the cassette in 1982 when it came out on newsstands linked to a Punk guide, and I listened to this album all day instead of studying. "Hole in My Life" has a great breath, like a sad and melancholic school day with rain flowing through the streets. What else can I say? Legendary and unique Police. Great job!

@Claudio: thank you for the appreciation. In fact, it’s true that I have never commented on a review about the Police, among those you’ve written. I know everything about the Police, but commenting without stating clichés would be difficult; however, I think I will drop by. I consider myself a passable derecensor but a terrible commentator; I say that the Police are a strange group when it comes to the age of its members and the underrated b-sides. Cheers! :D
