Ripping Corpse Dreaming With The Dead
Voto:
I thought they were a Death Metal band, but instead, there's good old Thrash in the mix. On the back cover of "Testimony Of The Ancients" by Pestilence, you can see Mameli wearing a t-shirt with the logo of the band in question. Nice review, anyway. I like Rutan as a guitarist even though I only know him from Morbid Angel.

Well... Fidia, congratulations on the review and the nice comments I've read. I don't have answers to these questions, but I enjoy all the discussion that has come out of it.
AC/DC For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)

Good job, but this work isn’t a 5; it lacks the creativity of its predecessor. Sure, the sales are on their side and they are huge, they were probably pressured by Atlantic and rushed to produce the album. This is just my opinion, just to be clear.

As above. I just want to add that Udo in the title track sounds like an angry Bon Scott; he is definitely trying to imitate him and he does it well.

@Bubi if by instrumental interlude you mean an engaging and sharp guitar solo, then the piece is "Get Ready For Love." But if by scary instrumental interlude you mean a sort of central part of "Heartbreaker" by Led Zeppelin, then there's no piece that comes close to that. I mentioned "Heartbreaker" because Myles imitates Robert Plant on the second track of "First Glance" when he sings that classic Zeppelin tune. Curiously, I've seen two versions of "First Glance," Canadian and American, and the only difference, apart from the cover, is the swapping of track 1 and 2, namely "Get Ready For Love" and "Hot On The Wheels Of Love." Bye:DD

Legendary the Dust but never listened to; I only know Kenny for the work with HSAS. Nice review.

Incredible but true: I watched the movie. The atmospheres are the strong point of this film, probably appreciated by Jimmy Page as well given the themes addressed. Well done, Fidia!

Very good, Bartle, really. Your knowledge of cinema compared to mine is, in terms of quantity and expertise, like... let's see... just like Betelgeuse compared to Mercury. Of course, you are Betelgeuse :DDDD

I wrote 1984 but it's 1985, well, even "Bonded By Blood" was already recorded in 1984 (but it's from 1985), and on "Metal Command" Baloff even delivers some truly delightful awkward screams, so Schnmier was also original given the chronological factor and wasn't copying anyone. Unless someone wants to compare him to the singer of Blue Oyster Cult, given the sadomasochistic tone. Or maybe I'm just falling asleep :DDD
