Bob Dylan Bob Dylan
Voto:
Of course, Bob Dylan is not an example of beautiful singing, but for what he has to say, this sharp, nasal, deliberately unpleasant voice works perfectly. It's amazing how even in this album, where Dylan is 22 years old, a forceful personality comes through, even if the results are mixed.
Bob Dylan Bringing It All Back Home

Perfectly in tune with the entire review, and in particular with the beginning: "Technical trials of revolution": that revolution which will fully unfold with "Highway 61 Revisited", at least musically. Here we are still a bit in between the old folksinger and the "folkrocksinger" to come, but the lyrics, as you have shown us with valid examples, are already quite forward-looking.
Sergei Rachmaninoff Concerto per pianoforte n° 3 in re minore

In response to your question: Josi, probably when you premiered the classical piece in debaser I wasn't yet in this world (in the sense of debaser, that is, I wish I were that young...). It's more likely that I didn't miss it (a classical review in debaser is always noticeable). Anyway, the club was just a way of saying: the broader, the better. I have a fond memory of "Shine" and I can't see it as a mediocre film, except perhaps for a somewhat too sappy and optimistic ending which, they say, doesn't at all correspond to the course that poor Helfgott's life took.

We don’t give a damn about the invisible idiot ruining the media: what matters is to find the full "Classical Club" of debaser, with the pleasant addition of JohnOfPatmos and the curiosity of kosmogabri, who shouldn’t be afraid of classical music... there’s really nothing to be worried about. Maybe starting with a complex work like this isn't exactly ideal: better to stick with old dear Mozart or eternal Bach. Anyway, never submit to the psychological terrorism that TV tries to spread: classical music as stuff for initiates and therefore "difficult," "serious," and so on. Nothing could be further from the truth. (I HATE BEING PUT IN GRAY: IT BRINGS ME CLOSER TO THE IDIOT!)
Ada Montellanico e Enrico Pieranunzi Danza di una ninfa, storie di Tenco

Usually, I’m not too attracted to these crossover operations between singer-songwriters and other genres, but from how you described it (very well, just to change things up), it seems like an album worth getting to know.
Francesco Guccini Due anni dopo
Voto:
Sorry for the delay, but I overlooked this, and for a guccinologist and guccinophile, that's very serious. So: in my opinion, we are still in an evolutionary phase, just below the subsequent masterpieces like "L'isola non trovata" and especially "Radici". Great album anyway, and a fitting review.
Claudio Lolli Un uomo in crisi
Voto:
P.S.: if you want to have a good cathartic cry, from the same Lolli I recommend "Michel," but I don't know which LP it belongs to. In comparison, "Io ti racconto" or "Morire di leva" are like a Carnival. Put away the razor, though.

Ptr, you see, melancholy isn’t an illness, but a feeling, something very human. If you experience it, there’s no need to be scared. Sure, Claudio Lolli "made a profit" a bit from melancholy, but it’s always better than emptiness.
Francesco De Gregori Terra Di Nessuno
Voto:
Dear ege, it is known that with De Gregori, especially the earlier, more enigmatic works, there are countless possible interpretations, and therefore your reading of "Spalle larghe" can be as valid as mine. I have obviously shared my perspective, but I am happy to hear other ones. Probably if we were discussing the LP "Francesco De Gregori," that 1974 one with the "pecora," or "Bufalo Bill," we could hear dozens of interpretations.
Miles Davis Sketches Of Spain

The problem is not my average, which is irrelevant, but the insidious and cowardly way it is ruined, solely for this purpose, without even reading the review. I would prefer a solid 1 with justification to a 3 given by someone who practically doesn't even exist, or at the very least a nice 3 a la El Guevo, with no explanation, but at least given with face behind it. But the most serious thing is that the anonymous idiot, to harm me, has also torn apart one of the absolute masterpieces of jazz, which they have probably never even heard.
