Vinicio Capossela Il ballo di San Vito
Voto:
Odradek is right: I indeed speak of the "label" that is automatically slapped on poor Vinicio: heir of Conte, therefore the Italian Tom Waits. The succession is by no means logical, as I have widely explained in the review of "Franks Wild Years."

Why apologize for reviewing "prehistoric" albums? I've done around sixty reviews, at least forty of which are from the '60s and '70s... (not surprisingly, two of the three you mentioned are mine). Everyone talks about what they know best, and on Debaser, there is absolute freedom: one can even review the Golia Bianca advertisement (someone has done it, and in a hilarious way too).

In particular about "Le Rondini," I agree 100%. I've never understood how it didn’t become a classic of Dalla.

Fully agree: in my previous comment, I was a bit too harsh. There are interesting insights in the albums you mentioned, especially in "Cambio," which I consider a bit of a last gasp from Lucio Dalla, unfortunately overshadowed by the enormous success of the infamous "Attenti al lupo."

P.S. It's a shame that this one and the first were the ones I wanted to review, but that doesn't matter.

Oh finally someone who considers this "clone" of the debut album a masterpiece (5 stars) as well. Most tend to bash it just because it resembles the first one like two peas in a pod. But only in sound, I say: there are no signs of copying among the themes, and to maintain the same level as the first Dire traits, which I consider their absolute masterpiece, is quite an achievement. The review is good too.
Lucio Dalla Com'è profondo il mare
Voto:
Here: the best Dalla begins here, in perfect balance between the Roversian commitment and the subsequent inexorable descent into the cliché. For a few more albums ("Lucio Dalla" and "Dalla"), he will manage to reconcile quality and sales, and then goodbye. The review is at the peak, meaning excellent.
Fabrizio de André Fabrizio de André (L'Indiano)
Voto:
What an amazing debut! And starting with De André is a good omen: about a year ago, I also began my adventure on this site with a bunch of reviews about the greatest of our singer-songwriters, even if they aren’t my best. This, on the other hand, seems like the work of someone who was born on this site. Worthy of the album, in my opinion one of the most underrated due to a certain "ease" that, however, does not undermine the greatness of the content.

On the album, I refer to what has been said in the excellent review by Francesco Genovese. This one wouldn't be bad, but it's very meager.

You made a mistake in your search: Fabrizio De André is written with the sweet accent: you searched for Fabrizio De Andrè.
